Pastor Jeff W. Schuckers:

Has had a relationship with God for as far back as he can remember. “I was brought up in a home with a mother and father who not only had relationship with God, but were also very active in their church. My first memories were being in church, learning about  God,  His Son and having good role models fostering my relationship with the Lord.  I’m so thankful that I found salvation by Grace through Faith, and my life belongs to God.”

Pastor Jeff grew up in Shreveport Louisiana  where he got his first job at the age of 14 managing a cow calf operation for Col. Robert Shane.  Col. Shane had committed to a venture in another state and asked Jeff  if he would be willing to manage the operation. With the help and direction of his father, the late Dr. Gordon Schuckers, he learned how to manage the cattle and hay operations. For the next six years Jeff, his father and younger brother Brent not only managed the Colonels cattle, but aquired their own heard.  It was during those years he learned the value of hard work, integrity and a job well done.

After High School he attended La. Tech University and later graduated with a Bachelors degree from Northeast Louisiana univeristy in 1991. In the Spring of 1992 he moved to Denton TX where he would earn a Masters Degree from TWU. During college he worked and horse traded to save enough money to

put a down payment on his first ranch, a 17 acre raw piece of land in Valley View, TX. In 2010 he sold his ranch in Valley View to purchase his current ranch Triple Quarter Horses in Gainesville TX.

During the next decade he devoted himself to building two things; an understanding of the Word of God and a Cutting horse training facility. In 2003 God profoundly changed the direction of his life. God blessed him with the birth of his Son, Kolten Gordon Schuckers and shortly after revealed to him the direction God had for him.

God was calling him into the ministry! Jeff enrolled in the Mellinineum Bible Institue, a non-denominational Bible school where he earned his Graduate in Theology and soon after became an ordained Minister.

Since that time Pastor Jeff served at Valley View United Mehtodist Church, Started Spring Creek Cowboy Church and then with the calling and direction of God started Cooke County Cowboy Church.

Pastor Jeff and his Son now own and operate a 155 acre cutting horse ranch in Gainesville Texas  in addition to him Pastoring Cooke County Cowboy Church.

His family: son Kolten, daughter Stormee, God Son Ethen Turner, brother Brent, mother Rita, father the late Dr. Gordon Schuckers, his church family and his Heavenly father.
